Lev 4:35 ‘Then he removes all its fat, as the fat of the lamb is removed from the slaughtering of the peace offering. And the priest shall burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire to יהוה. So the priest shall make atonement for his sin that he has sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.

Lev 5:2 ‘Or when a being touches any unclean matter, or the carcass of an unclean beast, or the carcass of unclean livestock, or the carcass of unclean creeping creatures, and it has been hidden from him, he is unclean and guilty.
Lev 5:3 ‘Or when he touches uncleanness of man, any of his uncleanness by which he is unclean, and it has been hidden from him, when he shall know it, then he shall be guilty.
Lev 5:4 ‘Or when a being swears, speaking rashly with his lips to do evil or to do good, whatever it is that a man swears rashly with an oath, and it has been hidden from him, when he shall know it, then he shall be guilty of one of these.
Lev 5:5 ‘And it shall be, when he is guilty of one of these, that he shall confess that in which he has sinned,

Lev 5:9 ‘And he shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar, and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering.
Lev 5:10 ‘And he shall prepare the second as a burnt offering according to the right-ruling, and the priest shall make atonement for him, for his sin which he has sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.
Lev 5:11 ‘But if he is unable to bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons, then he who sinned shall bring for his offering one-tenth of an ĕphah of fine flour as a sin offering. He puts no oil on it, nor does he put any frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.

Lev 5:16 “And he shall make good for the sin that he has done against that which is set-apart, and shall add one-fifth to it and give it to the priest. And the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
Lev 5:17 “And when any being sins, and has done what is not to be done, against any of the commands of יהוה, though he knew it not, yet he shall be guilty and shall bear his crookedness.
Lev 5:18 “Then he shall bring to the priest a ram, a perfect one, from the flock, with your valuation, as a guilt offering. And the priest shall make atonement for his mistake he committed unintentionally, though he did not know it, and it shall be forgiven him –
Lev 5:19 it is a guilt offering, he was truly guilty before יהוה.”
Lev 6:1 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,
Lev 6:2 “When any being sins, and committed a trespass against יהוה, and has lied to his neighbour about a deposit, or about a pledge, or about a robbery, or shall extort from his neighbour,
Lev 6:3 or has found what was lost and has lied concerning it, or did swear falsely, so that he sins in regard to any one of all these that a man does,
Lev 6:4 then it shall be, when he sins, and shall be guilty, that he shall return what he took by robbery, or what he has extorted, or the deposit which was deposited with him, or the lost item which he found,
Lev 6:5 or all that about which he swore falsely. He shall repay its total value, add one-fifth more to it, and give it to whom it belongs, on the day of his guilt offering.

Suggested HaBerith HaChadashah Reading: Heb 10:1-18
Heb 10:1 For the Torah, having a shadow of the good matters to come, and not the image itself of the matters, was never able to make perfect those who draw near with the same slaughter offerings which they offer continually year by year.
Heb 10:2 Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered? Because those who served, once cleansed, would have had no more consciousness of sins.
Heb 10:3 But in those offerings is a reminder of sins year by year.
Heb 10:4 For it is impossible for blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
Heb 10:5 Therefore, coming into the world, He says, “Slaughtering and meal offering You did not desire, but a body You have prepared for Me.
Heb 10:6 “In burnt offerings and offerings for sin You did not delight.1 Footnote: 1Ps. 40:6, 7.
Heb 10:7 “Then I said, ‘See, I come – in the roll of the book it has been written concerning Me – to do Your desire, O Elohim.’ ”
Heb 10:8 Saying above, “Slaughter and meal offering, and burnt offerings, and offerings for sin You did not desire, nor delighted in,” which are offered according to the Torah,
Heb 10:9 then He said, “See, I come to do Your desire, O Elohim.” He takes away the first to establish the second.
Heb 10:10 By that desire we have been set apart through the offering of the body of יהושע Messiah once for all.
Heb 10:11 And indeed every priest stands day by day doing service, and repeatedly offering the same slaughter offerings which are never able to take away sins.
Heb 10:12 But He, having offered one slaughter offering for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of Elohim,
Heb 10:13 waiting from that time onward until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet.
Heb 10:14 For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are being set apart.
Heb 10:15 And the Set-apart Spirit also witnesses to us, for after having said before,
Heb 10:16 “This is the covenant that I shall make with them after those days, says יהוה, giving My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I shall write them,”1 Footnote: 1Jer. 31:33, Heb. 8:8-12.
Heb 10:17 and, “Their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall remember no more.”
Heb 10:18 Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer a slaughter offering for sin.

Vayikra Aliya Summary
General Overview: This week's Torah reading, Vayikra, begins the third book of the Torah, Leviticus. Last week we completed the reading of the book of Exodus, which concluded with a description of the construction of the Tabernacle. This week's portion will provide a description of the various sacrifices – animal, fowl, and meal-offerings – offered by the priests in this newly constructed Sanctuary.
First Aliyah: G‑d calls out to Moses from the Tabernacle and teaches him the laws of the elective burnt offering, the Olah sacrifice. This aliyah discusses the laws of the cattle, sheep, or goat Olah.
Second Aliyah: G‑d then teaches Moses the laws of the fowl Olah. This aliyah then continues with a description of three types of voluntary meal offerings: unbaked flour, baked loaves, and the shallow-fried meal offering. All voluntary meal offerings also contained olive oil and frankincense.
Third Aliyah: The Torah describes the last type of voluntary meal offerings -- the deep-fried meal offering -- and the mandatory barley offering, the Omer offering, brought on the second day of Passover. G‑d instructs the Jews to add salt to every animal sacrifice or meal offering, a symbol of our everlasting "salt covenant" with G‑d. We are also commanded not to include any leavened items or anything which contains honey in any Temple offering (there are two exclusions to the leaven prohibition).
Fourth Aliyah: The "Peace Offering," the Shelamim sacrifice, is described in this Aliyah. The Shelamim -- which could be brought from cattle, sheep, or goats -- was shared by the altar, which consumed some of the animal's fats, the Kohanim, and the donors of the sacrifice who were given the bulk of the meat. The aliyah ends with the prohibitions against consuming blood and the specific fats which were offered on the altar. These prohibitions apply to all animals, even those not offered in the Temple.
Fifth Aliyah: We now begin learning about the "Sin Offering," the Chatat sacrifice, brought by an individual who is guilty of inadvertently transgressing a sin. This section discusses the unique Chatat sacrifices brought by a High Priest who sins, by the Sanhedrin (Jewish Supreme Court) who issue an erroneous ruling which causes the populace to sin, and a monarch who sins.
Sixth Aliyah: The Torah discusses the fourth and final type of Chatat, that of a common person who sins. Also discussed is the Korban Oleh Viyored, a "vacillating" Sin Offering, brought by an individual guilty of certain specific sins. The Korban Oleh Viyored depended on the financial position of the transgressor -- a wealthy person brought a sheep or goat, a person of lesser means brought two birds, and a pauper brought a meal offering.
Seventh Aliyah: This section concludes the laws of the Korban Oleh Viyored. We then move on to the last sacrifice discussed in this week's Torah reading, the "Guilt Offering," the Asham Sacrifice. Three types of Asham Sacrifices are discussed: a) an Asham brought by one who inadvertently misappropriates Temple property. b) An Asham brought by one who falsely swears regarding money owed to another. (Aside for bringing a sacrifice, these two individuals must repay the principal amount, and pay a punitive fine equal to one fourth of the principle.) c) An Asham brought by a person who is uncertain whether he violated a Torah prohibition.
